In addition, auto-pitch, distortion, lo-fi, modulation and other cool voice-transforming effects catapult your vocals into a world of electronic timbres and aggressive textures. You can choose from 50 presets with ready-to-play sounds and 99 memory locations for your own combinations, songs and styles.

With the powerful harmony and doubler functions, you can create impressive ensemble effects from a single voice in no time at all. Simply select the desired type, the key of the song and start singing. Use the controls on the user interface to change the harmonies, adjust the levels and more. You can also assign the harmonies to one of the switches and turn them on and off as you wish during your performance.

The VE-22's uncomplicated user interface invites you to get creative with your live vocal sound. The Harmony, Effect and Echo sections are equipped with multifunctional controls that allow you to control the central parameters, switch each section on and off at the touch of a button or delve into the deeper levels with a double-click. The color displays and illuminated rings around the controls give you an overview of all settings at all times. There are also three switches for foot or manual operation, which you can freely assign. The connection options for an expression pedal or additional external footswitches offer even more control versatility.

Equipped for every performance

The VE-22 delivers a top sound for further use with a PA system, stage amplifier or recording device. It offers an XLR input and an integrated microphone preamplifier for professional live microphones, which is also suitable for high-quality condenser models thanks to phantom power. The high/low gain switch, the sensitivity control on the back and a level meter allow the input signal from almost any microphone to be optimally adjusted. A compressor, EQ, de-esser and other studio tools are also available to give vocal performances an even, powerful sound.
