The Jet JS-500 impresses with a light and resonant basswood body in combination with a neck made of roasted Canadian maple. Due to a rich, shiny Silver Sparkle finish and a headstock that matches the body, it convinces not only with its fantastic sound, but also with its stunning looks. In terms of player ergonomics, the JS-500 is supremely comfortable for the modern guitarist with its modern C-shaped neck profile and 9.5" radius fingerboard.

In terms of hardware, the JS 500 offers several upgrades over the lower models in the Jet line, making it a truly amazing value. Locking tuners make string changes easier and minimize string slippage during performances. The high-quality Wilkinson tremolo system with solid steel saddles provides excellent stability and resonance transfer. The bone saddle ensures that all vibrations from the strings are transmitted to the two upgraded Alnico humbucking pickups, which are controllable via Volume/Tone knobs and a 3-way switch.
