This singing saw with beechwood handle is made of carbon steel, which makes it very flexible and easy to play. It was specially developed as a singing saw. Its tonal spectrum ranges approximately over two and a half octaves (F3-A5). Its teeth are blunt to prevent injury and damage to clothing. Since the musical saw experienced its first boom in the vaudeville shows of the 1920s by stars such as the Weaver Brothers and Marlene Dietrich, it has established itself as a musical instrument in many styles.
Its distinctive tone, which is very close to the human voice, gives it many more impressive effect possibilities beyond melodic playing. To get you started playing right away, the package includes an attachable wooden bending handle, a bow and rosin.
