The UAD-2 Satellite USB OCTO Core is Universal Audio's most powerful DSP system, opening the world of award-winning UAD Powered plug-ins to producers and audio engineers. The slim desktop unit gives every Windows-based DAW system enough power to mix even large tracks with the coveted analog sound of the UAD plug-ins.

When designing the UAD plug-ins, Universal Audio's DSP developers work closely with original hardware manufacturers and use their schematics, sample devices and experienced ears to ensure that all sound facets of classic analog equipment are authentically reproduced. The UAD-2 Satellite USB OCTO Core has eight SHARC processors and thanks to the USB 3 SuperSpeed port, the plug-in latency is drastically reduced compared to FireWire 800.

Included with the UAD-2 Satellite USB OCTO Core is UA's Analog Classics Plus Plug-In Bundle and the system can be optionally expanded with more than 90 plug-ins from well-known manufacturers such as Ampex, Manley, Lexicon, EMT, Neve, Fairchild, Pultec, Studer, SSL and many more.
