Intech Studio TEK2

Welcome to TEK2, the latest grid module equipped with a pair of endless rotary potentiometers (jog wheels) and eight clicky buttons.

TEK2 is our entry into modular control for audio and video editing. It features 5-point multicolor LED feedback and massive knobs with a two-state switch (pressed & released) in addition to their smooth endless rotation. The programmable "5-bit display" is perfect for feedback of center or start value positions and highlighting parameter states.

The knobs can be rotated 360° and function smoothly. In addition to endless rotation, the knobs can also be pushed down to act as a button. The knobs are equipped with a 5-part RGB LED that can be configured to show the current value of the knob or the current status of the software. The TEK2's buttons are identical to the BU16 and PBF4 buttons, which can be used to change the state of the large knobs. As a grid controller, TEK2 can use left/right rotation, toggle, momentary and a number of other interaction modes.

In the free and open source editor software, TEK2's large knobs are identified with encoder and button events. This means that all the unique configuration modes we know from the EF44 and EN16 controllers are available for them. With the introduction of the 5-piece RGB LED segment, we have also implemented new features to easily change LED-related states, such as color and intensity.

Continuing Intech's tradition of offering the most versatile MIDI control tools, TEK2 can also shine as a hotkey and macro controller. The knobs can send zoom-in, zoom-out, left arrow, right arrow or other keyboard commands when turned in different directions. Switch the mode of the rotary knobs with the 8 tactile buttons or use these buttons to trigger specific key combinations. Do you need to rotate the scroll wheel while holding down a button? With the TEK2 you are on the safe side. The TEK2 is a perfect tool for any kind of creative work, from music production to video editing, from 3D modeling to photo editing.
