The Moog DFAM is the first extension of the mother system of synthesizers and represents an expressive, practical approach to generating percussive patterns. No patching and absolutely no experience is required so that musicians of all ages can quickly begin synthesizing new and unique rhythmic compositions.

Activated by an easy-to-use analog sequencer, the Moog DFAM's emotional sound begins with a white noise generator and two broadband analog oscillators - effortless switching between rhythmic pulsations, resounding basses and resonant bells in no time at all. The unmistakable voice of DFAM is then shaped by a classic Moog Ladder filter with two selectable modes: Low-pass mode adds impact and dimension to any sound, while high-pass mode opens the door to naturally expressive shots, spikes and sounding accents.

Moog DFAM behaves similar to a living organism that reacts in different ways to different individuals. 3 dedicated analog envelopes dynamically work with the sequencer to ensure tribal toms can breathe, create industrial effects and create or attenuate sound chaos.

Each Moog DFAM unit comes with a package of Moog patch cables to unlock the 24 point patchbay. Use it to create new sounds or bizarre behaviors, synchronize an unlimited number of DFAM and Mother 32 units or fully integrate your analog instrument into a modular Eurorack production environment.
