Moog Spectravox

Spectravox, the newest member of the semi-modular Moog family, is a groundbreaking sound shaping tool. An analog spectral processor based on a 10-band filter bank, Spectravox creates vivid drones and colorful tonal sweeps, adding resonant depth and psychedelic spectral movement to any external sound. Plug in a microphone and Spectravox becomes a 10-band analog vocoder with innovative built-in modulation of all filters. Spectravox explores and expands the topology of the vocoder and filter bank, making it a highly flexible instrument and signal processor with an extensive patchbay for integration into studios of any size.

Unlike previous fixed filter banks, Spectravox's unique filters are no longer fixed in place, but shift together in frequency space, allowing the creation of voltage-controlled spectral animations and lively phaser-like sweeps. With 10 filters whose variable resonance can range from smooth precision to shimmering choral effects, Spectravox reshapes the sounds you love into surprising new forms, bringing a new world of sonic possibilities to your studio.
