NUX Mini Core Series NOD-1 Horseman Overdrive

Modeled after one of the most sought-after dual overdrive pedals produced in the mid-90s, NUX presents the NOD-1 Horseman as a tribute to the legendary Centaur pedal. The 2 modes Gold and Silver can be switched by foot switch. The Gold mode imitates the classic, transparent sounding Gold Centaur overdrive pedal, the Silver mode is an amplified version (Silver Centaur) with an extended gain range. The headroom required for this is generated by internally doubling the input voltage to 18 volts, so there are sufficient power reserves available. At low gain settings, the pedal can be used exquisitely as a clean boost. NUX have chosen two selected Schottky diodes to replace the germanium diodes used at the time.
