Solid State Logic SSL 500-Series 611 DYN

With the 611 DYN, the long-established manufacturer Solid Slate Logic is expanding its famous 500 series for recording studios looking for professional equipment. The E-Series dynamic has a compressor section, which can also be used as a limiter thanks to the 1:∞ ratio. The release parameter works from 0.1 to 4 seconds, with an unusually wide range. The button for the fast attack can be set to either 3 or 30 ms. You also have the option of switching between hard and soft knee and to set the release to linear or logarithmic.

The module section can be used either as a gate or an expander. The gate works with a ratio of ∞:1, and 2:1 for the expander. In addition, the range pot offers a maximum range of 40 dB. Similar to the compressor section, there is a button with fixed but even faster attack values of 100 μS and 1.5 s.
