The METACONFORMER redefines MIDI creativity by acting as an intelligent MIDI router and thru-box, offering innovative ways to process MIDI messages.
With 2 independent MIDI inputs and 4 MIDI outputs, the METACONFORMER offers flexibility for a wide range of MIDI applications. One output can even be configured as a sync signal source to optimize the synchronization of your MIDI devices.
In splitter mode, you can divide the keyboard of a MIDI channel into several zones. Notes from each zone are sent exclusively to one instrument. This allows you to play several instruments simultaneously and experience the harmonious interplay of timbres without having to change MIDI channels.
Combiner mode allows you to combine several monophonic instruments into a multitimbral polyphonic instrument. This opens up similar possibilities to the algorithm of a polyphonic synthesizer, but with the freedom to play completely different timbres. The expansion of harmonic and rhythmic options is particularly impressive.
In Translator mode, you play sound core parameters by pressing notes. Each note received is translated into a corresponding CC command. This mode allows you to play with sound parameters instead of just entering them by turning knobs. Perfect for controlling granular delays, resonance filters and paraphonic oscillators.
The METACONFORMER keeps its finger on the pulse, with more operating modes to be announced in the future. This means that the potential of this intelligent MIDI router is constantly being expanded to offer musicians new and exciting ways to create their music.
