With the MPC Live II, Akai continues the concept of "Music Production Centers" - with standalone capability, touchscreen, CV/gate control and deep integration into modern studio and live setups.

Technical details of the Akai MPC Live II
At the center of the system is a 7-inch, high-resolution multi-touch display that provides intuitive control of all parameters, sequencers, mixers and plug-in settings. The 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads are sensitive, responsive and perfect for finger drumming, sampling, clip triggering and expressive performances.
Thanks to the integrated rechargeable battery with lithium-ion technology, the MPC Live II can be operated completely independently of the mains power supply - ideal for jam sessions in the park, spontaneous studio ideas or live performances. The built-in speakers make it the perfect mobile production tool without having to rely on external monitors.
The standalone functionality allows you to work completely without a computer. At the same time, the device can be used as a controller for the MPC 2.0 software - a DAW-like production environment with clip view, audio editing, automation and more.
The internal equipment offers everything a producer's heart desires:
