The AM53-TF from Ibanez is a more manageable alternative to full body 335 style semi hollowbody guitars. While in the past the tonal orientation of Ibanez semi-acoustic guitars was more aimed at a specialized audience, the Ibanez Artcore series is now breaking new ground with new designs and a rockier orientation. The playability of the AM53 is the same as a solidbody guitar. Sapeke body, glued-in Nyatoh neck, a set of Ibanez Infinity humbuckers and solid Ibanez Gibraltar hardware.
