With the Pro Series Signature Jeff Loomis Soloist SL7, Jackson has collaborated with Loomis to create a new addition to the in-house signature lineup.
This 7-string guitar features an expanded tonal palette that allows for versatile expression across the fretboard. It features a 26.5" scale length, a resonant basswood body with sandblasted ash top, and a full-length, three-piece maple neck with graphite reinforcement for rock-solid stability and enhanced sustain. The ebony fingerboard with 12"-16" compound radius features 24 jumbo frets and Pearloid Sharkfin inlays and is designed for technically demanding, fast playing. Luminlay Side Dots provide touring musicians with fret guide on even the darkest stages, while the conveniently located heel-mounted truss rod adjustment dial makes adjusting neck relief a breeze. A pair of active Seymour Duncan Jeff Loomis Signature Blackouts humbucker pickups provides a multi-faceted voice with dynamic range, articulation and tone response. The neck pickup delivers smooth, glassy leads, while the bridge pickup delivers more aggressive tones and sustain while still maintaining its legato.
Three-way switching lets you try different pickup combinations, and a single volume knob lets you crank up the intensity to your liking. Dive in and take off expressively with the Floyd Rose 1500 Series Double-Locking tremolo system, which provides a comfortable pick hand, precise intonation, and ultra-stable tuning.
