The VOX Giulietta VGA-5TPS is an elaborately designed hollow body guitar with a curved top and the sound of a modern electro-acoustic acoustic guitar. Thanks to the even narrower body and lighter weight, it is especially comfortable to play, unlike its little sister VGA-3PS, making it ideal for the stage or even longer jam sessions. In combination with the 5-ply body binding and the block inlays on the Baked Jatoba fingerboard as well as the eye-catching lacquer finish, the VGA-5TPS looks particularly classy. The hybrid bridge, developed and patented by VOX, consists of superimposed layers of wood and aluminum as well as a high-quality piezo pickup, which allows for a clear, defined sound with a particularly balanced frequency response. The built-in supercapacitor preamplifier can be recharged via mini-USB cable and allows for a continuous playing time of about 10 hours after a charging time of only 15 minutes. The complete electronics are elegantly hidden under the pickguard, which in addition to an exceptionally clean look also has the advantage that the top of the guitar can vibrate freely and unaffected by the additional weight of the electronic components, which in turn has a positive effect on the sound characteristics.
