The VOX Giulietta VGA-5TPS presents itself as an elaborately designed hollow body guitar with a curved top and the sound of a modern electro-acoustic acoustic guitar. Unlike its little sister VGA-3PS, it features an even narrower body and lighter weight, making it especially comfortable to play and ideal for the stage or even longer jam sessions. The five-ply body binding and block inlays on the Baked Jatoba fingerboard, combined with the eye-catching lacquer finish, give the VGA-5TPS an exceptionally luxurious appearance. The hybrid bridge, specially developed and patented by VOX, consists of superimposed layers of wood and aluminum, as well as a high-quality piezo pickup, which allows for a clear, defined sound with an especially balanced frequency response. The built-in supercapacitor preamplifier can be recharged via mini-USB cable and allows for a continuous playing time of about 10 hours after a charging time of only 15 minutes. The complete electronics are elegantly hidden under the pickguard, which in addition to an exceptionally clean look also has the advantage that the top of the guitar can vibrate freely and unaffected by the additional weight of the electronic components, which in turn has a positive effect on the sound characteristics.
