The Epiphone SG Custom Ebony is part of the Inspired by Gibson Collection and replicates the legendary SG with the LP Custom-style binding from the 1960s, which became a hard rock and heavy metal classic. The SG debuted in 1961 as a replacement for the Les Paul, which had been temporarily discontinued due to low sales. The SG Custom features an ebony fingerboard, LP Custom-style inlays, gold hardware and Alnico Classic PRO™ humbuckers with CTS electronics.
