At first glance, the LTD Deluxe EC-01FT hides a simple, streamlined version of the ESP Eclipse, but on closer inspection this guitar has some serious refinements that make it one of the best choices for players looking for the hardest performances imaginable. Thanks to its flat body and clean electronics layout, nothing gets in the way of everything from intense riffs to big power chords and melodic lead lines. With its comfortable 24.75" scale length and smooth set-thru heel construction, nothing stands in the way of reaching for the highest frets. The classic mahogany body and three-piece mahogany neck provide rich tones, and the eye-catching brushed matte black pickguard makes sure you stand out from the crowd. The EC-01FT has a 43 mm nut, giving you a little more fretboard in your hand to play big power chords. It features a Macassar ebony fingerboard with pearloid block inlays and 22 extra jumbo stainless steel frets. The recessed TonePros TOM bridge and string-through body provide a low and comfortable string height with maximum resonance. LTD locking tuners keep you in tune and make changing strings a breeze. Perhaps the biggest advantage of the EC-01FT is the Custom 14, a new pickup developed exclusively for ESP by Seymour Duncan.
