The JET JS800 impresses with a lightweight and resonant basswood body, combined with a neck made of roasted Canadian maple and a Black Relic finish.

In terms of player ergonomics, the JS-800 is very comfortable for the modern guitarist with its modern "C" shaped neck profile and 9.5" radius fingerboard. Jet has focused especially on improving playing comfort. For example, the lower body cutout has been added contouring to make it easier to strike the upper frets, and the neck heel has been shaped without a plate.
