Basses 4-String Heavy
Heavy style basses are mostly used in music genres like hard rock or metal. One of the main influences for these kinds of design is the Thunderbird bass, introduced by Gibson in 1963. In the 70ies hard rock and rock musicians started using this bass and the Explorer model and made them popular. When metal came up in the 80ies, even more aggressive designs were invented.
